Why is 15 August celebrated as The BLACK Day & not as The INDEPENDENCE Day

Ask a mother who lost her son.Ask a wife who lost her husband.Ask a child who lost his father.Ask a sister who lost her brother.Ask a youth who lost his friend. They don't have a reason to love the country they belong to.

As India celebrates its 65 years of independence and The Prime Minister unfolds the flag with a promise that his government intents on fighting corruption. He says our country has achieved much, traveled rapidly on the path of development and achieved success in many areas. However, I am also well aware that a lot remains to be done. We have to banish poverty and illiteracy from our country. We have to provide the common man with access to improved health services. We have to provide employment opportunities to each one of our youth. And yet he forgets what is to be done for Kashmir which doesn't cry because of poverty, illiteracy. It's pain is much greater than all of these.

Kashmir cries for peace, its recognition all over the world as a part of the country and not be treated as terrorist or being a cause of terrorism worldwide,We all agree that there are human rights violations in Kashmir?I would like to ask our rulers that take so much responsibility in ruling us-Are not you and your political colleagues yet satisfied with a thousands of people killed?

Kashmir issue: we have lost nearly 100 thousand lives, hundreds of our sisters & mothers have been molested, thousands exiled and thousands are missing. What is the solution? When they fail to provide us with a solution the youth have a solution.

This is the reason today every youth is on street demanding AZADI.We always have been betrayed by the Government of India which failed to fulfill it's promises. We protest as a strategy by which we assert the demand of the right of self-determination.
We aren't killing the innocent souls. We aren't responsible of any uncertainty in INDIA or anywhere in the WORLD-then why are we always THE SUSPECTS.Kashmiri youth living in a so called democratic country India- why is he deployed of his rights?Even the simple rights he used to enjoy have been snatched away-Gag On SMS Services,Crackdown On E-Protestors etc.He has to suffer everyday. He has been suppressed always and will continue to if our leaders continue not paying heeds to their sufferings.

As a kid I use to be proud of my country, used to watch the Independence celebration with great enthusiasm but now I just don't care and like me every youth of Kashmir doesn't care and celebrate the day as THE BLACK DAY.We don't feel to be part of the country that doesn't consider us to be its part though it keeps on declaring us to be its integral part.

We have been traumatized and thus we don't want to be a part of India or Pakistan - we just want freedom-We want our own identity as was promised to us-we want KASHMIR to live and progress. We dont want to be suppressed or ruled over.We want PEACE.
We demand a new KASHMIR -A Better One
